Youth work professionals from across the region came together recently at the launch of a new Impact Network, created by the Centre for Youth Impact to share good practice in impact measurement, and improve outcomes for young people. MAP is the lead partner for the network in the East of England.
The network aims to support organisations across the region to develop their understanding of impact measurement in work with young people and create a shared vision across local services. 25 professionals from the voluntary sector, Youth Advisory Boards, Early Help, Health and the Police attended the event in Norwich, taking part in a number of workshops reflecting on local successes and challenges around impact evaluation, as well as things they would like to gain from being involved in the network.
The next event will take place early in the New Year. To join the Network and attend future events contact Paul Webb, MAP Youth Work Services Manager at Paulwebb@map.uk.net. For more information on the Centre for Youth Impact visit www.youthimpact.uk
