MAP’s services remain open through lockdown

As we enter the new lockdown – MAP want to reassure you that we are still here

Our centres have been adapted to keep everyone safe

We are still able to offer face-to-face appointments as well as support you over the phone, email and continue with online platforms. Our pre-arranged groups continue to meet both in person and online. Ask us anything. If we can’t help, we know someone that can. MAP offer Mental Health support, Advice and Youth Work. We are still going into schools and offering one-to-one support. To find out about the work we do and how it is being adapted, please check our service update pages.

Re-imagining our work

It’s great being able to talk to other people who are there for me. It’s really nice because when everything else is changing, MAP stays steady.

Group participant – aged 12

We have been here here for young people throughout the pandemic and will continue to innovate and create new ways of working within changing boundaries – to support young people aged 11-25 in Norfolk. The restriction of face-to-face communication can take its toll on young people’s mental health and so being able to return to giving appointments along with opening up youth groups, in a COVID-19 safe way, has been very well received. We will continue to support young people any which way we can. These are unprecedented times and we think it’s never been more necessary to innovate, create, collaborate and listen to what young people need, allowing us to re-imagine how we can continue to give the best help possible.
