MAP is pleased to be working in partnership with the Norwich Centre to offer training in the BACP Counselling Young People (11-18) Introduction course.
Through a range of experiential teaching methods, delivered by our experienced counselling team, the course aims to enable counselling practitioners to build their knowledge and experience of working with young people (aged 11-18) in an effective and ethical way.
As we know there is rising concern for and increasing investment in the mental health of young people and a corresponding increase in demand for experienced practitioners who are able to engage effectively with young people to meet their needs. This introductory course aims to provide the basic skills for working with young people.
Applications are now being taken for a January start and further details can be found regarding the course structure and application procedure HERE
