Gain experience, knowledge, life skills, and learn how to create change by coming together with other young people. For young people aged 16 & 17.

What is NCS?
This is your chance to plan and deliver a social justice project with NCS, the National Citizen Service. You will decide what’s important to you, in your community, and how to make a difference.
What is social justice?
Social justice is the idea that all people should have the same rights and opportunities and that a country's wealth and resources should benefit everyone in that country. Through a series of online meetings and coming together with other young people, you’ll decide what you want to change, and how you want to change it.
Your project could be about:
- Food banks
- Homelessness
- Changing your school curriculum
- Anti-social behaviour
- Loneliness
- Or anything else you think fits the definition of ‘social justice’
You’ll work together to decide your goals, and make a difference through things like awareness raising events, creating performances, short films, podcasts, or other creative resources, lobbying key decision makers, or anything you think could help you achieve change.
With the help of youth workers at MAP, you’ll gain experience, knowledge, life skills, and learn how to create change by coming together with others.
