Ending youth deprivation

With the support of the Big Lottery Fund and working with Your Own Place and Norfolk Community Law Service we have created a partnership to improve the way young people are supported through and out of crisis. We work with many agencies, from the Foodbank and hostels to colleges and employers to ensure young people can achieve their goals. This partnership is led by our Advice Services Manager Robert Lancaster. The partnership has two forums which professionals can attend:

  • The Young Parents Practitioners Forum – contact Andy Wood for details.
  • The Education and Employment Practitioners Network – contact Georgie Murdoch for details.

We also attend and contribute to the Greater Norwich Homelessness Forum where we address the issues around youth homelessness – not just visible rough sleeping but also the invisible but common practice of sofa-surfing.
