Training & supporting professionals

Our training is delivered by our experienced practitioners who have direct knowledge of working with the issues being raised. We provide training in areas that can be new or challenging for people. We encourage both sensitivity and discussion, so participants can explore their concerns and leave the training feeling much more confident about the issues.

We are currently designing our next programme of training sessions. Our programme is likely to include training on:

  • Understanding mental health and how to get support (“Mental Health First Aid”)
  • Self-harm
  • Sexual health and relationships
  • Transgender awareness
  • Drugs and alcohol – especially newer drugs or NPS (New Psychoactive Substances, so called “legal highs”)

If you would like to be kept informed of our training, or are looking for other training please contact Clare Franklin our Development Manager.
