MAP is here for young people finding their way. If you are young and LGBT+ there can be a lot of finding out to do. We’re here to share the journey with you! And we are proud of you and who you are. This year, in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, and to stand against racism we are particularly thinking about Black LGBT+ young people and the multiple discrimination and oppression they can experience.

Youth Working with Pride

All young people deserve to feel accepted and proud of their identity, and be able to access the health care and support they need to flourish! Find out how Loudspeaker are tackling discrimination in Norfolk via the Young Activist Network.

Advice and Advocacy

You can get advice about money, benefits, housing, jobs and training. You can get to know your rights and what is available for you. We know young people from the LGBT+ community experience more difficulties in these areas, often because of discrimination. You can also get advice on sexual health and relationships. Our advisers are well trained and here to listen to whatever difficulties you are facing and find a way forward with you. If you are facing discrimination we can advise you, including how to get specialist legal advice. Whatever you need, even if we are not sure what to do straight away, we’ll use our knowledge and experience to find the right support for you.
