Tuesday 18th June
You must be registered to vote on or before this date to vote in the general election. It's quick and usually pretty simple, but you can always ask MAP for help if you get stuck.

The Big Debate
Join us on 24th June for this General Election debate for young people aged 25 & under. Find out what local candidates and their parties have to say about issues facing young people. Whether it's votes at 16, national service, housing, education or anything else that matters to you, come along and submit your questions for our candidates.
Wednesday 26th June (before 5pm)
When you vote, you must bring your photo ID. If you don't have valid photo ID, you can order a free one before 5pm on 26th June and it'll arrive in time for the general election. You can bring a passport, driving licence, or other government ID, but if you have a student ID this won't be accepted. Check the list of accepted photo ID if you're not sure.
Thursday 4th July
You can vote any time between 7am and 10pm on this date at your polling station. This is usually a public building near you like a school or a village hall. The address of your polling station will be written on the 'poll card' that you should have received in the post. You don't need to bring your poll card with you, but you must bring your photo ID.
