MAP is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Volunteer Youth Support Workers to join our open-access youth groups across Thetford, King’s Lynn, Great Yarmouth and Norwich.
We run a range of exciting youth groups known as ‘Spots’, each with its own activity theme:
- Sports Spot - Thetford, Gt Yarmouth and Gorleston
- Chill Spot - Gt Yarmouth, Kings Lynn, Dereham, Norwich and Acle
- Creative Spot - Norwich
- Music Spot - Norwich
- Gaming Spot - Norwich and Thetford
As a Volunteer Youth Support Worker, you’ll help create safe, welcoming and inclusive spaces where young people can socialise, build confidence, develop new skills and have fun.
What will you do?
- Support staff to deliver engaging youth sessions.
- Build positive relationships with young people aged 11–19.
- Encourage participation in activities and discussions.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment.
- Work as part of a friendly and experienced team.
What are we looking for?
You don’t need previous youth work experience—just enthusiasm, empathy and a commitment to supporting young people. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences.
