MAP are currently looking for counsellors who are able to volunteer their services to work within a team offering counselling to 18 to 25 year olds from our base in Norwich. We would love to hear from those who feel passionately about working with young people.
Successful applicants will be able to use their skills and expertise to help a range of young people, and will gain experience of working in a lively, experienced and committed team of counsellors and therapists. In return, we provide monthly Professional Supervision, undertake regular Peer Supervision and offer CPD training throughout the year.
To be considered, candidates will be working towards, or will have successfully completed, a counselling qualification to a minimum of diploma level and be registered with a professional organisation that works to a professional code of ethics and standards (e.g. BACP or UKCP).
This is a rare opportunity for counsellors who share our values to contribute their ideas, skills and enthusiasm to enhance the lives of young people, while continuing to develop, learn and grow.
