Hear from one of MAP's counsellors about what to expect from counselling, and find answers to questions you might be too nervous to ask.
In the video below, one of MAP's counsellors Cai describes the benefits of Counselling, how it differs from other types of mental health support, and why it's always worth reaching out if you feel you need some support.
MAP's counselling practitioners offer a safe, confidential space, where problems can be shared, no matter how big or how small. However, anxiety around accessing counselling can be a stumbling block for many young people.
One-to-one counselling can be an invaluable resource if your mental health is suffering.
If you think you might benefit from counselling, the first step is to get in touch with a mental health adviser who can talk you through your options. MAP also offers support in some schools and community bases around Norfolk.
Support can be accessed remotely via phone and online, or in person at a MAP office (North Norfolk, East Norfolk, South Norfolk, West Norfolk, and Norwich localities).
